Utilizing the NYSDOL Virtual Career Center Website in the adult education classroom can play a major role in meeting college and career readiness standards as well as strengthening WIOA partnerships with your local One Stop and Department of Labor. Discussion will cover a wide range of literacy programming such as career exploration, planning and preparation. Javier will also demonstrate how to use and navigate the Virtual Career Center Website and provide updates on the transition from the Job Zone Website.

This training is 3 hours in length and will count toward the required 14 hours of professional development for all NYSED funded program staff.
