PD Credit: Each participant will receive 3 hours of PD credit regardless of which region they are from. It will all be recorded in ASISTS.
Lunch will be hosted by NYACCE from 12:00 till 1:00 pm, all those registering are welcome to arrive in time for lunch first.

Are Your Students Ready for the GED?

Trainer: Brendan Steed, Central Southern Tier RAEN Teacher Leader

Our CST RAEN Teacher Leader, Brendan Steed, attended the GED conference back in August 2022. He has assembled a comprehensive list of great information and materials that he was able to glean from the many professional development workshops he attended during the conference. This workshop is designed to assist all ABE/ASE teachers in refreshing your teaching skills to further support the GED subtests. Brendan will share practice tests along with test previews. Being familiar with the test format and relative content will further enhance your teaching strategies in the classroom. We appreciate that Brendan is so willing to share all the benefits of having attended the GED conference and hearing directly from those who create and support the GED test. This workshop is highly recommended for any teacher who has students preparing to take the GED test.
