Utilizing the Job Zone Website in the adult education classroom can play a major role in meeting college and career readiness standards as well as strengthening WIOA partnerships with your local One Stop and Department of Labor. Discussion will cover a wide range of literacy programming such as career exploration, planning and preparation. Javier will also demonstrate how to use and navigate the Job Zone Website and provide updates on the upcoming transition to the NYS DOL Virtual Career Center.

This training is 3 hours in length and will count toward the required 14 hours of professional development for all NYSED funded program staff.
