Instruction Strategies for the Adult Education Classroom (VIRTUAL)
Presented by: Todd Stregiel, RAEN Certified Trainer
Effective adult education calls for a flexible approach to class management and student engagement. Tailored to educators entering the field or returning to the classroom, this virtual professional development session will explore basic instructional techniques for creating a positive, dynamic learning environment through student-centered strategies aimed to drive retention and achievement. Veteran educators are encouraged to attend as an opportunity to refine their existing toolkits and share proven methods. Participants will leave with a range of actionable instruction models to foster a supportive learning environment while encouraging active participation and deep learning.
This 2 hour training counts toward the 14 hours of professional development requirement for all NYSED funded program staff.
