Computer-Based Skills for Adult Learners (VIRTUAL)

Presented by: Javier Garcia, RAEN Certified Trainer

Digital Literacy in the adult education classroom focuses on essential computer skills. Computer-based test-taking is an increasingly popular format. Our students have options for taking the TABE and the GED online, as well as many vocational certification exams. Many of our students are not equipped with the basics. This workshop will explore some resources for computer basics, some specific online tools for TABE test prep, and resources for making your students more comfortable in an online setting.

This workshop may be of particular interest to EPE programs who are approved for/intend on seeking Computer Based Testing Sessions as an EPE Fast Track option.

This 2 hour training counts toward the 14 hours of professional development requirement for all NYSED funded program staff.
