This introductory session will focus on informing new adult education teachers and new data staff members involved with NRS data collection and reporting about the National Reporting System, (NRS). It will include information about the history and importance of the NRS and its impact on funding, the NRS data flow and teacher responsibilities, the most recent federal and state policies, the development of Education and Employment Plans, the goal setting process and outcome measures. This workshop will demonstrate the important link between classroom teaching and NRS data reporting.
