Broome Co Public Library
185 Court Street, Binghamton NY
From Routes 81S, 17W, and 17E, use exit 4S (Route 7-Binghamton). Merge onto NY 7/ NY-363, Take the Brandywine Avenue exit. Make a right turn on Court Street. The library will be a few lights down on the right.
From Route 434 E. ( Vestal Parkway ), proceed over the bridge just beyond Number 5 restaurant. At the second light, make a right on Court Street. You will go through three lights and the library will be on your left.
Auburn Campus Driving Directions
From the East (Albany/Utica/Syracuse):
Take the NYS Thruway (Interstate 90) west to Exit 40 for Weedsport/Auburn. Follow Route 34 south into Auburn (approximately eight miles). Turn left at the first stop light just inside the city limits (Standart Ave). Continue straight through the major intersection (Route 5/Grant Ave); turn left at the first four-way stop following this intersection (Franklin St). The College will be on the left, just beyond East Middle School. Approximate driving distance - from Albany, 180 miles; from Utica/Rome, 90 miles; from Syracuse, 30 miles.
From the West (Buffalo/Rochester): Take the NYS Thruway (Interstate 90) east to Exit 40 for Weedsport/Auburn. Follow Route 34 south into Auburn (approximately eight miles). Turn left at the first stop light just inside the city limits (Standart Ave). Continue straight through the major intersection (Route 5/Grant Ave); turn left at the first four-way stop following this intersection (Franklin St). The College will be on the left, just beyond East Middle School. Approximate driving distance - from Buffalo, 140 miles; from Rochester, 75 miles.
From the North (Watertown): Take Interstate 81 south to Exit 25A. Then take the NYS Thruway (Interstate 90) west to Exit 40 for Weedsport/Auburn. From the South (Ithaca): Take Route 34 north to Auburn. Once in Auburn, turn right at Route 5/Grant Avenue (the Holiday Inn will be up ahead, on your left). Continue straight on Route 5/Grant Avenue until you come to the fifth traffic light (Seward Avenue to the right). Turn right onto Seward Avenue; turn left at the first four-way stop following this intersection (Franklin St). The College will be on the left, just beyond East Middle School. Approximate driving distance - 40 miles.

From the East and West Via Thruway - Exit 40 (Weedsport)
Off ramp turn right on Route 34 South towards Auburn (about 6 miles)

From Interstate 81 North: Take I-81 North to I-481 North (Exit 16A). Travel 481 North to Exit 7 ( Bridgeport Exit). Make a right onto Route 298 West. Go about 3 miles and hotel will be on right.
From Interstate 81 South: Take I-81 South to NYS Thruway (I-90) going east. Travel I-90 East to exit 35 (East Syracuse & Route 298 East). Enter traffic circle and get off at Route 298 East. Take Route 298 East,hotel will be on left.
From NYS Thruway I-90: Take I-90 exit 35 (same exit traveling from East or West). After toll booth enter traffic circle and get off Route 298 East. Travel Route 298 East , hotel will be on left.
From Downtown Syracuse : Take Route 690 East to Thompson Road North Exit (16N). Travel Thompson Road North 3 miles to Carrier Circle . Take Route 298 East , hotel will be on left.
is located near the very end of Gros Boulevard, off of Route 5, just east of the village of Herkimer. (see Red Star)
From the West on the NYS Thruway - use exit 30. Turn right onto road after leaving toll booths. Travel under railroad bridge and at first light bear left onto Caroline Street. At the next light turn right onto Route 5 and continue on Route 5 through Herkimer - exiting over the West Canada Creek Bridge. In approximately 1 mile turn left onto Gros Boulevard and continue on it until just before it terminates (just one mile). The William E. Busacker Complex will be on your right.
From the East on the NYS Thruway - use exit 29A. Continue straight down road from the toll booths into Little Falls. At the T intersection with Route 5, turn left and head West through Little Falls - continuing approximately four miles to Gros Boulevard. At Gros Boulevard turn right and continue on it until just before it terminates (just 1 mile). The William E. Busacker Complex will be on your right.
From the North - Herkimer can be reached via NYS Route 28. At the intersection of Routes 28 and 5, turn left (East) and head over the bridge toward Gros Boulevard.
From the South - Herkimer can be reached via NYS Route 28. At the intersection of Routes 28 and 5, turn right (East) and continue through Herkimer, and follow directions outlined above.
I-90 NYS Thruway exit 30, Herkimer exit. After tollbooth bear right onto Mohawk Street and immediately move to the left lane. Go under two overpasses.
Take a left at the first light after the second underpass onto Caroline St.
Stay on Caroline St. You will cross Route 5, pass the shopping center and enter a residential section with several stop signs.
Stay on Caroline St. until road ends. Then make a left onto German Street.
Stay on German St for several hundred feet and take your first right before the light onto Lou Ambers Road.
You will drive up the campus hill to where the College rests.
Total distance from Exit 30 NYS Thruway (I-90) to college is no more than 1.5 miles.
1) When leaving the Holiday Inn, Turn right.
2) At the first light, turn right again (Harrison Street)
3) At the next light (blinking), turn left. You will be on Route 29 heading east.
4) Travel approximately 9 miles and the Training Center will be on your Right. (There is a large sign out front (Green and white) that says BOCES Education and Training Center.)
5) Take the first Right after the sign and enter the parking lot. As you drive toward the building, the door you enter is facing you.

Directions to the HFM BOCES Education and Training Center from the Thruway
1) Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 27 (Amsterdam)
2) After leaving the tollbooth in Amsterdam, take a right.
3) Take Route 30 North to Vail Mills
4) At the corner of Route 30 North and Route 29 (Traffic Light) take a right.
5) Travel approximately 2 miles and the training center will be on your right. There is a large sign (green and white) that says BOCES Education and Training Center
Merge onto RT-365 east, (take the right ramp after the toll booth).
At the second stop light, (about one mile), turn right onto Spring Road.
The main campus is located about 500 feet on the left hand side of the road

Take the NYS Thruway, I-87, North to Exit 23. Take I-787 North to Exit 9W, which is the exit for Route 7 West-Schenectady & Saratoga Springs. From Route 7 West, take the exit for Route 9, Latham. Turn left at the light onto Route 9 North. The Century House is located 1/2 mile on the right.
From the East:
Take the NYS Thruway, I-90, to Exit B-1 ( Berkshire Spur). This will still be I-90. Follow I-90 to I-787 North ( Troy ). Take I-787 North to Exit 9W, which is the exit for Route 7 West-Schenectady & Saratoga Springs. From Route 7 West, take the exit for Route 9, Latham. Turn left at the light onto Route 9 North. The Century House is located 1/2 mile on the right.
From the West:
Take the NYS Thruway, I-90, to Exit 24. Take the Adirondack Northway, I-87, north to Exit 7. Follow signs for Route 9, Latham. Bear right at the light onto Route 9 North. The Century House is located one mile on the right.
Turn Left on Oswego Road. Go 0.4 miles
Turn Right on The Liverpool Bypass. Go 0.5 miles
Go Straight through light onto Morgan Road.

From Syracuse, NY and points South
Proceed North from Syracuse on Route 81 to Exit 34 marked "Mexico", approximately 28 miles. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Route 104 West and continue approximately five miles into the village of Mexico. Remain on 104 West and pass through two traffic light intersections. Approximately 1/4 mile beyond the second light, you will encounter a fork in the road with Route 104 bearing to the right. The road to the left is County Route 64, but is not well marked. There is a small green sign indicating "Oswego County BOCES". Turn left on this road, County Route 64 (County Home Road) and proceed to the top of the hill, approximately one mile. Turn left into the main entrance of the BOCES Campus and proceed to the main parking lot on the right. Proceed through our main entrance to the receptionist who will be able to guide you further.

Turn right onto this road, County Route 64 and proceed to the top of the hill, approximately one mile. Turn left into the main entrance of the BOCES Campus and proceed to the main parking lot on the right. Proceed through our main entrance to the receptionist who will be able to guide you further.
From the NYS Thruway
1. Get off of the Thruway at exit 31
2. Out of toll booth go straight over bridge.
3. Follow signs to Genesee St. South
4. Take a right onto Genesee Street

1. Take Route 81 North to Route 481 South
2. Follow Route 481 South to the Thruway exit 34-A

Directions from the South
1. Take Route 12 North to Downtown Utica exit. (You will travel through New Hartford past Utica National Insurance. Follow the signs for 12N. Soon you enter a 40 mph zone with lots of lights, after all these lights watch for the Downtown exit)
2. At the light take a left onto the ramp to Oriskany Street.
3. Follow Oriskany Street to Genesee Street South.
4. Take a right onto Genesee Street. The Radisson is about 1/4 mile on the right

Follow the signs to Route 365 East - Rome.
Turn Right onto Route 365.
Continue on Route 365 to South James Street.

From the South
Take Routes 8/12 north and follow signs to the Institute of Technology (Mulaney Road exit).
From the East
Take Route 5 to Routes 8/12 north. Take 8/12 north and follow signs to the Institute of Technology (Mulaney Road exit).
From the West

Utica ACCESS Site

Our building is conveniently located directly behind Grimaldi's Restaurant on Bleecker Street , and directly across from the Municipal Housing Authority Twin Towers building on Second Street .
Students and other visitors to the Site are asked to park in the lot located across Elizabeth Street on the southwest corner of Elizabeth and Second Streets.
From the NYS Thruway (I-90)
Take exit 31 - Utica
Go straight through toll booth, straight over bridge, follow road to the left to Genesee Street
Stay right and turn right on Genesee Street south to Bleecker Street (3rd traffic light)
Turn left onto Bleecker Street and follow to Second Street.(2nd traffic light)
Turn right onto Second Street and go one block to corner of Elizabeth Street
Utica ACCESS Site parking is across Elizabeth Street at the corner of Second and Elizabeth Streets.
Enter the ACCESS Site through the Second Street entrance and come to the 2nd floor.
